With limited training and hunt test entry, Ami was entered in the UKC Hunt Test’s and received her UKC Hunting Retriever title in straight passes.  She has great intelligence and desire and is the kind of Labrador that wants to work for you…not herself, always giving 100%.  Her sire is 2xNAFC-FC-2xCNAFC Ebonstar's Lean Mac, rated as the all-time greatest Field Trial and Pre-Potent producing Labrador Stud in history.  Ami is sister to two dogs with 9 AKC Field Trial Derby points each.  Both have also won AKC Field Trial QAA titles and are currently running in AKC Field Trial Open competition.  
 

The Boss's performance record speaks for itself.  However, the primary reason Thunder Bay Labradors  has made this breeding are to both strengthen and establish our foundation stock, and The Boss's record to date of  producing Labradors with very high Trainability - Intelligence - Conformation - Disposition.  The Boss is continuing the record of his sire, the immortal FC-AFC Wilderness Harley To Go.  The Boss's Sire line crossed on Ami's sire line, the all time great producing  2xNAFC - 2xCNAFC - FC - AFC Ebonstar's Lean Mac, together with three of the top producing bitch lines will inevitably  pass the very best genetic characteristics nationally available to assure our goal of producing superior Companion Labradors used for Hunting and Performance.    We are confident there will be exciting news of this breeding in the future.
